Xtreme Soccer Club

Last weekend was a VICTORIOUS weekend….taking it to Total Soccer Club 3-1.  A pretty routine game for our Xtreme girls….score Gies, score Davidson, score DeHart and a classic penalty kick SAVE by Stagner!  The only real opportunity Total had was capitalized on when a scuffle emerged after a corner kick and Total snuck one through past the goal line. Most of the action took place after the game on the sidelines….with  a Total parent and the ref….OUCH!!

This weekend was a match up between the Lady Hawks and The Xtreme.  The Lady Hawks did get the better of us the first half with the wind at their backs….but the second 1/2 was dominated by the Xtreme…just were not able to put enough balls over the goal line.  We did squeak one goal past them with a pinball like approach.  Kirkpatrick served the ball from the left, Wagner rebounded the ball directly into the path of Gies, where Gies finished the play with a header into the net…Nice work ladies!!  The ending score was 1-4….but one of their 4 was an own goal, so I’d like to think of it at 1-3!  We’ll have revenge on them later in the season!!

If it starts getting too dark by the end of October to run practice until 7:00, we will re-arrange
