U14 Practice Schedule for week of Aug 18-23 & PARTY!!

August 17, 2008

We will have U14 practice this week on Tues, Aug 19th from 6:30-8:00 and Saturday 11:00-12:30.  After practice on Saturday, we would like to invite everyone back to our house for a “PICNIC”….we’ll cook burgers and dogs on the grill.  If anyone would like to bring some sides, that would be great….something simple.  Just a fun time for the girls to mess around.

I have every intention of posting a calendar on the web site with our practice schedule.  It’s not crazy…but there are some irregular days…we did the best we could with Coach Jen’s schedule, and trying to accomodate all the girls who are in after school sports.

Great job Ball Girls….Drury won 2-1 Saturday night.  Thanks to all the girls who were able to come out and participate.  Jen sends her appreciation!!

See you all Tues…and please put Saturday on your calendar!!!  Missy

U14 Change in time for Sunday practice/Drury ball girl info

We are changing the time of practice on Sunday, Aug 17th to 6:00-7:30. Several of the girls are going to the referee clinic this weekend and may not be out in time for an earlier practice. Next week’s practices have not yet been scheduled. We will have it posted by Sunday as well as tell the girls at practice on Sunday!

If your daughter is interested in being a ball girl at the Drury game Saturday night, they need to be there by 7:30 at the Drury soccer field. We have about 5 coming so far….I’m sure we can’t have too many. They can always take turns if we have a lot. For now, they should wear an Xtreme Soccer T-shirt…either maroon or white. No uniforms. We’ll meet at the gate, and find Coach Jen together. They will be working the ladies soccer game only. It starts at 8:00.

Summer Sizzler HOT and SUCCESSFUL!!

Our Xtreme girls dominated the U14 girls division at the 3v3 Summer Sizzler hosted by Ozark High School….going undefeated and looking like a finely tuned machine!! The Summer Sizzler had 53 teams entered and from what I’ve been hearing….it was a huge hit with everyone!! Congratulations to Coach Kristi for FINALLY bringing home a 1st PLACE FINISH!!! Thanks for taking care of the girls….Jim and Linda were excellent umbrella holders and Payton’s grandparents were super helpful with the girls, too!! We love our teams…just wish the WHOLE team could have been there to play!! We all look like lobsters, but it sure was FUN!!! Great work girls!!

New Xtreme Coach Announced….

Jen Simeck, one of the Drury Panthers Assistant coaches will be taking the helm this year for our U15 team. Jen will be joining us not this week, but next week at trainings. Steve will continue to serve as assistant coach…especially on the weekends that Jen is on road trips with the Drury Girls. We are VERY blessed to have someone with Jen’s knowledge and experience wanting to join our team. Apparently there may have been other offers on the table for her ….and she felt like our team would be a better fit for her!! When she does join up with trainings, be sure to give her the Xtreme Welcome and make her feel at home….introduce yourself and let’s make sure she knows how happy we are to have her on board.
