Despite only having 10 girls available to play our Saturday game, we STILL pulled out a victory!! Congratulations to all the girls who worked SO hard to bring home that victory!! We are very proud of you!! For those of you who will be attending the Arkansas Tournament this weekend, our game times are Sat: 8am and 12pm. Sunday is 9:30am. If you need to book Friday night hotel, please do so ASAP so I can release the remainder of the rooms. E-mail me if you need the hotel info. We will have a link posted in the next day or two about the schedule for the weekend….meals, curfews, departure times, etc…. This keeps everyone on the same page. Have a great week and we’ll see everyone on Thurs at practice. We’ll go from 5:00-7:00…add the extra 1/2 hour for added instruction.

AWESOME GAME TONIGHT.….what fun did we have??  Parents vs Players…don’t remember the score, but I know it was close!!  Joe, let us know how those knee’s are feeling tomorrow!!  I love our team….it truly is one big family!!  Please check the schedule to see where we play Saturday.  I don’t know off hand.  ALSO, in case you hadn’t heard yet (where ya been?) Tom is 2 wins away from 500 career victories.  Ozark plays Willard on Friday (should be a win) then Harrison Arkansas on Saturday at 6:00pm (which will be for the big 500!!)  It will be quite a night…we’ll need lots of cheering.  If you have the evening free, come cheer them on…even if your not a Tiger, come support Coach D!!  (at the high school soccer field).  Again, great night, great friend, great kids!!  Thanks to all who made it!!

Go to www.lakecountrysoccer.org and click on leagues, youth outdoor, spring session, girls U14. There you will find our schedule for the spring season. We asked for 4 double headers, and I do believe they tried…but it was just impossible to get us all our requests. Keep checking it….They only had us scheduled for 7 games and SSC had 9 games. I think they mixed our games up, so it will change…I just don’t know when!!

Practice is ON for Thursday 5:00 -6:30ish. We will check with coaches and see if they would like to add another practice for upcoming tournaments. Only those going to tournaments will be required to attend practice, although if those not attending tourney’s would LIKE to practice, they are welcome. If you have money due, please make sure Linda (or Jim) gets your check so that we can get the books in order.

ALSO..don’t forget, we are having our Kick off party on Thursday, March 27th from 5:00-8:00 at the dome. We will have a parent vs player game on the big field, then have dinner paid for by the indoor “goal can” ALL PLAYERS ARE WELCOME…we want all Spring Players and Guest Player to come. It’s a great time to all meet and have some fun. All parents will play….no chicken-sh$&(#’s out there!!!

I attended the coaches meeting on Friday night.  They had the middle school schedules out, but had not gotten to Spring schedules at that point.  Keep checking www.lakecountrysoccer.org for the postings.  Check back to this site frequently about practice cancellations and general updates.  I’m going to try to do this instead of mass e-mails.  We’ll see how it works out!!

Great game (as usual) tonight.  Thank you to Hayley and Katie for stepping in and helping us out!!  We missed Sam, Marie and Jessie, though!!  I don’t know what the rankings are for the season.  Since we lost to SSC, I have a feeling we came in second.  I sure wish we could have played them again…we would have beat them with a few subs!!  Great season overall.  I hope the girls had as much fun as us parents did.  End of season party is tentatively set for Thursday, March 27 at 5:00 at the dome.  It will be a parent vs player game, then grub.  Janet will give us the tally of all our “money can” proceeds.  I think it will be quite a party with all the goals scored this season!!  Great idea, Janet!!
